Now a finalist for the BookLife Prize!

On Nov. 1, Transference was announced as the finalist in the sci-fi/fantasy category for the BookLife Prize, hosted by the indie arm of Publisher’s Weekly. Prize judge and author of The Wrong Stars, Tim Pratt writes:

“Kate Jonuska’s Transference is a riveting tale of telepathy and suburban angst, with characters who reveal unexpected depths and challenge reader expectations as the story unfolds. Despite some powerful forays into darkness and despair, the book is ultimately about hope, redemption, and making human connections in a difficult world.”

I am thrilled and honored! Wowwowwow. The winner of the whole shebang is awarded $5,000 and will be announced Dec. 18. I won’t be counting the days or anything…
