Announcing my first public workshops of 2020! I’ve joined the faculty for the 2020 Pikes Peak Writers Conference, running April 17-19 at the Doubletree in Colorado Springs. Over the course of the three-day event, I’ll be participating in three different programs:
- Panel guest, speaking about critique groups including finding groups, giving good feedback and creating healthy critique communities. I love talking about critique!
- Co-teaching the workshop “A Book in Hand: Anthologizing for Fun and Profit” with Caitlin Berve of Ignited Ink Editing.
- Teaching the workshop “Get out of Your Head and in Front of Your Keyboard: Meditation and Motivation for Writers.” As a yoga teacher, I love opportunities to make meditation practices accessible for niche groups like writers.
Registration for the conference (which includes meals) is $425 through March 15, when the fee goes up to $480. Find out more at Pikes Peak Writers or click here to register now. Can’t wait to see you there!
