Transference reviewed in the Daily Camera

Clay Bonnyman Evans, book reviewer and author of the upcoming Bones of My Grandfather: Reclaiming a Lost Hero of WWII, reviewed Transference for the Daily Camera, based in Boulder, CO. (My local paper!) Noting my “flair for punchy, often cynical, humor,” he also writes:

For all the conventional wisdom about ‘likable’ characters, unlikable characters can work if they are interesting, and these two are. We never move too far beyond their most salient traits, but Jonuska has a journalist’s ear for snappy dialogue… (She) is a clean, sharp writer, and it will be interesting to see where she goes from here.
