Kate Jonuska is a writer, author and yoga teacher from Boulder, Colorado. Though she’s practiced yoga for 20+ years — journeying through Iyengar, Bikram, power and even Kauit — she received her 200-hour teaching certification in April 2019 and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
Kate has several interests and specialties, including:
- Music-focused yoga flows
- Yoga for body-image issues and for all body types
- Mindfulness and meditation for creatives
- Althetic power yoga to build strength
- Advanced poses and arm balances
- Verbal and hands-on assists
As an immunocompromised yogi, however, Kate will not be teaching in person for the foreseeable future. 😢 However, you can do yoga with Kate in your own home via her new project, launching in July of 2020: Yoga Singles with Kate on Patreon!
Released weekly, Yoga Singles are yoga music videos, simple flows that allow you to drop deep into the music and your practice, which just happen to be Kate’s favorite parts about practicing at home rather than in a group. You get to listen to your body and your senses rather than instructions, and simple flows can build the confidence necessary for any yogi to create a satisfying home practice.
Tune in and have some fun with your yoga! Membership is $5/month for access to the video of the week and $10/month for full access to the archive. But only in the month of July, you can get full access for only $2/month!
In addition, Kate taught — and after the pandemic, hopes to teach again! — at Corepower Yoga locations in Boulder, Colorado. Click here to see her public schedule, when available.
Kate is also available for yoga intensives and retreats!
