Boulder Weekly’s 101-Word Contest Winner

I took third place in the fourth annual Boulder Weekly 101-word fiction contest! I’ve received honorable mention in the past, but the placing is a huge thrill and honor. The story was inspired by a recent road trip through Wyoming, South Dakota and Montana. You know, ranching country, where I have family roots.
